Kids mezzanine

A plywood loft floor under the barn's old wooden rafters and brick gable, with black ducting tubes snaking across it.
This mezzanine is where the kids' beds will go. They'll have to access it with a ladder or steep staircase. The black tubes are for the air conditioning.
