I have a solar-powered website at solar.dri.es (mirror). It runs on a Raspberry Pi with a solar panel on our roof deck.

Every 10 minutes, the Raspberry Pi updates this status page. This page is hosted separately, so if my solar-powered website goes offline due to an extended lack of sunlight, cold preventing the battery from recharging, or a system crash, you should be able to see that here.

A green square means the battery is well-charged and can power the Raspberry Pi for several days. A red square indicates the battery charge is low and requires solar charging soon. A grey square means the Raspberry Pi was offline.
